Heifer International to Lay Off 20% in US

Heifer International will lay off 20% of its US work force next month.The nonprofit employs 240 at its Little Rock, Arkansas headquarters; 338 nationwide; and 1,150 globally.
The last day for terminated employees will be June 26th. It is not said if each laid off employee will get a free goat.
Heifer International is a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to relieving global hunger and poverty. It provides gifts of livestock and plants, as well as education in sustainable agriculture, to financially-disadvantaged families around the world.
