Fewest Layoffs at Vallejo Schools in Years

The article is about the layoff felt by Vallejo schools. On Wednesday, the school board approved the lowest number of layoffs in years. Superintendent Ramona Bishop is hopeful of bringing the number to zero. Physical education, Spanish language and support teachers are the position being affected of layoffs. There are positions which are valid for potential eliminations that leads to the restructuring of Vallejo City Unified School District.
