Telamon Bringing Jobs to Missouri

Telamon, the Indianapolis-based telecommunications company, is expanding into the St. Louis, Missouri area.

The new office, located in Fenton, will open with 17 workers, and expand to 28 workers by 2013.

Telamon installs information technology hardware and software for its clients. Its work force will include engineers, assembly workers, installers, warehouse staff and administrative personnel.

The St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association, and The Missouri Partnership, the state’s nonprofit economic development agency, have been working to lure Telamon to the area. The firm also considered sites in Indiana and Kentucky.
