Wausau Paper Shuts Plant, Lays Off 96

Wausau Paper is permanently closing its remaining paper machine in Maine, and cutting 7% of salaried staff.

Mosinee, Wisconsin-based Wausau shut down its other Maine paper machines in August, cutting 150 employees.

The latest closure will happen by May 31st.
