This is an early-career position in our interference mitigation systems group, where you will engage in product development requiring a strong understanding of RF and microwave theory. Responsibilities include simulation, design, implementation, optimization and enhancement of RF systems in a lab or field environment. The ability to quickly develop skills in front end hardware circuitry design, as well as critical parts layout will be necessary for the successful candidate.
Qualifications: B.S. in Electrical\u00a0Engineering or similar field and\u00a03 years of related experience.
OR M.S. in Electrical\u00a0Engineering or similar field and\u00a01-2 years of related experience.
Experience with RF and microwave circuit theory Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with component selection for airborne or defense-industry hardware applications
Experience\u00a0with design, manufacturing and testing of airborne or defense-industry hardware
Knowledge of lumped and distributed element design of common RF passive\u00a0components such as power splitters, bias tees, filters, matching networks, etc.
Knowledge of and ability to perform cascade analysis of Gain, Noise Figure, Noise Power, Intercept Point, output power, phase noise, etc.
Knowledge of the design and performance characteristics and limitations of amplifiers, oscillators, mixers, filters, phase lock loops, etc.
Familiarity with using RF testing equipment for complex measurements for design verification and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with linear, non-linear, and transient circuit simulation using Keysight ADS, Microwave Office, Genesys, or industry equivalent.
Experience with 2.5D and 3D electromagnetic simulation using Momentum and HFSS or industry equivalent.
Interface with the customer and provide presentations, lead\/perform trade studies and design reviews, and lead RF oriented test activities.
