Manager, Lifecycle Marketing','1719854','','Cox Communications','!*!Cox Communications, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Lifecycle Marketing who is part of a team responsible for developing and executing a customer lifecycle strategy. The lifecycle communication strategy includes on-boarding & education, base management, cross-sell and up-sell. 


The focus of this role is on driving Uptier & Ancillary revenue for all product lines (Video, High Speed Internet, Phone & Cox HomeLife), as well as assisting in driving OD-PPV revenue as needed.


This Role reports to the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing who oversees both Uptier & VOD Revenue.


Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Responsible for enterprise-wide customer uptier marketing strategy – from offer strategy, to contact and targeting strategy, to test & learn agenda and best tactics to drive the business.

Provide input on Uptier platforms and strategy briefs, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of GTM briefs and strategy plan, under leadership of Sr. Mgr.

Partner closely with analytics teams to analyze upgrade trends at the system and product level, understand campaign performance, and develop appropriate testing etc. to build and refine and effective customer uptier & VOD strategic plans.

Has experience and understanding of pricing, offer strategy, and discounting to drive the customer adoption of uptier offers and targeting strategy

Works with agencies of record, creative teams, digital and execution teams toward in the design, development, production, distribution and fulfillment of Uptier & VOD marketing materials and campaigns.

Works cross functionally with multiple areas of marketing including retention, digital & social, and retail to ensure the appropriate Uptier & Ancillary strategies are in place.

Partners closely with retention marketing to ensure Uptier strategies are in concert with and not working against customer retention efforts.

Partners closely with product marketing strategy team on communicating product launches and opportunities for upsell and ancillary add-ons for current customers.

Partners with FP&A & pricing to develop business cases as needed.

Develops, socializes and executes an annual Uptier strategy & calendar and measures, optimizes and reports on performance.

Partners with Marketing COE’s and Sales to ensure visibility and support of Uptier & Ancillary strategies.

Directly Manages both OPEX budget and Uptier LRP budget to ensure business objectives are met.

Oversee 360 campaigns for seasonal VOD stunts and on-going premium network partnerships

Develop & execute test & analysis plans for both Uptier & VOD programs in partnership with digital and analytics teams.

Other special projects and responsibilities as determined necessary.','','','!*!Minimum

7 or more years of experience required in related field (i.e. Marketing, Communications, etc.)

5 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree

Requires strong knowledge of applications such Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and SharePoint

Excellent verbal, written, analytical, presentation, interpersonal, leadership, decision making, initiative, process orientation, organization, multi-tasking, and collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Comfortable presenting to senior leaders

Flexibility in taking on new aspects of the role as they arise

Strong financial acumen and understanding of marketing operations and digital marketing

Travel required as necessary throughout the year to off-site meetings as needed.


Experience with developing and executing 360-degree marketing campaigns preferred

BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (Marketing, Communications, Business)

2 or more years of experience in a management role or leading cross functional projects preferred

Experience in telecommunications industry desired
