The Defense & Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opening for a Wireless Communications Systems Engineer at the Pentagon in Arlington VA.
The Wireless Communications Systems Engineer will provide engineering and system administration support for Personal Wireless Devices supporting the Headquarters Air Force (HAF).
∙Perform systems administration of secure personal wireless devices for Headquarters Air Force Personnel.
∙Configure and manage encrypted email capabilities on personal wireless devices.
∙Provide support to wireless systems including day-to-day operations. monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client mobile devices.
∙Provide Tier 2 and Tier response to issues surrounding personal wireless devices, PureBred and Mobile Iron.
∙Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
∙Install/load operating system and application software to personal wireless devices.
∙Isolate and resolve hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, and the hardware for personal wireless devices.
∙HS diploma or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
∙Active Secret clearance or higher.
∙5 years of experience in personal wireless devices and or IT support.
∙Working knowledge of introducing personal wireless device onto DISA platforms.
∙Working knowledge of MobileIron.
∙Working knowledge of Purebred.
∙Background supporting military customers.
∙Background supporting VIP’s.
