The Product Management team is looking for a passionate Technical Product Manager, responsible for changing the customer authentication experience in the wireless industry. This role will be responsible for developing and executing the access and authentication strategy, roadmap and mobile experiences across multiple Apps and the Web.

The Technical Product Manager for Verizon’s Identity Platform will be responsible for multiple aspects of the Identity Platform and Services that power millions of Verizon customers across all Verizon applications and businesses. The Identity Platform forms the foundation of our vast, integrated user base that powers Verizon’s applications and services across millions and millions of users. The Technical Product Manager for Identity will be responsible for product decisions driving teams of engineers in the Identity Platform.

Product Managers at Verizon are responsible for the complete product offering, from early stage research and ideation, through implementation and iteration based on key success metrics. We're dedicated to agile methodology and are believers in 'lean product development. We are deeply self-driven and do our very best at all times to validate assumptions about our users with various types of testing. We are not looking for product managers who just want to concentrate on one area, such as user research or visual design – we need you to be eager to deliver across the entirety of the product development lifecycle. We are keen for you to bring experience that you can impart on the rest of us but also have to be interested to improve in many other skills, and low ego enough to always take initiative to learn more.

What we’re looking for...

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

A global perspective to the role, with a strong understanding of the digital identity landscape, including a baseline familiarity with consumer and social platforms and mobile technologies.

3 years of experience in a product definition and outcome leadership capacity at a leading consumer internet or enterprise technology company.

6 years of experience in the software product industry in technical product management, and/or software development/manager roles.

Proven experience in Identity & Authentication / IAM, including knowledge of multi-factor authentication technologies such as biometrics and industry standards such as OpenID Connect/OAuth and FIDO.

Demonstrated ability to partner with product management to translate business requirements into system design, logical and physical data model.

Proven experience in product & services security and compliance, including familiarity with laws and regulations related to end-user Identity & Privacy.

Working knowledge of AuthN, AuthZ, OAuth, SAML, SSO, Identity automation and governance.

Deep experience in building highly engaging customer-centric software products.

Track record of leading the product vision of successful identity platform initiatives.

Demonstrated excellence in agile development processes.

Close partnership with external stake holders and internal product management to translate business use cases into technical design.

Provide technical leadership to engineers and have credibility among engineers.

Shape technology roadmap that is aligned with business objective.
