Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
Part of the Global Partnerships organization, Partnerships Solutions is a small team organized around key strategic industries/verticals focused on three areas.
Global Business Organization frontline activation and enablement; creating go-to-market materials that reflect the best we have to offer partners, and elevates partner conversations to be more impactful; cultivating a global community of people working within the vertical; supporting frontline teams with important partners.
Cross-functional strategy and product work: working with cross-functional stakeholders within each vertical to build a deep understanding of the global vertical landscape and a clear vision of how Google fits (and can fit) within it; working with cross-Google product teams to inform a robust, well-coordinated product pipeline/portfolio that reflects our strategic priorities within the vertical.
Industry engagement: working with internal and external stakeholders to cultivate a healthy ecosystem for vertical partners and strengthen the perception of Google within the industry.
Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The team partners with Publishers and App Developers of all sizes to promote their ad inventory, working with Google's broad range of partner solutions including AdSense, DoubleClick Platform Solutions and the Ad Exchange, across mobile, display, and video formats, helping our partners and their audiences get the most out of the web. In addition, the Partnerships team supports Google’s own product teams with essential partnerships to help power Google’s user experiences in search, maps, travel, shopping, payments and more.
Work with head of Telco Partnerships Solutions and cross-functional teams to help align on, and position, Google's cross-functional approach to Telco partners, including overall direction and priorities for the vertical - and package into compelling narratives.
Develop agenda, presentations and briefings for cross-functional strategies, partner summits and industry events.
Activate global and regional communities of practice to upskill in-country teams on industry expertise, share best practices, monitor progress on global/regional vertical specific OKRs.
Work in partnership with the frontline teams working with Telco partners to coordinate and channel industry outreach efforts to advance Google’s thought leadership position across the industry.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of relevant work experience
Passion for, and experience in, the Telco industry
Strong ability to grasp complex technical and product concepts and excellent interpersonal and communication skills to formulate and articulate business, financial and other points of value with partners as well as internal Google teams.
Persistent and highly collaborative, with a passion for and understanding of Google products
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
