Job Description Use your skills as a CDL Truck Driver to join our team! As a truck driver with WESCO you will be responsible for making deliveries to our customers throughout the region/state/locale for the facility. You will need to have an active Class A CDL license and familiar with flatbeds and the securing of loads on flatbeds. What you will do: Provide timely service to our customers while observing all laws and WESCO safety guidelines Load/unload trucks using a forklift and other material handling equipment Ensures that manifests are complete and accurate Plans route to and from customers' business and adjusts for traffic and/or construction Delivers merchandise to customer and contacts customer if they are not present Pulls orders to match manifest Prepares and maintains records in accordance with company policies and procedures This is a partial list of duties. More driver and warehouse related duties can be expected NOTE: In the down time you will be expected to perform warehouse duties What you Need: At least 2 years of delivery driver experience Valid Class A CDL license to operate vehicle with GVW over 26,000 pounds not in combination, or transport hazardous materials that require placarding Pass MVR review and complete company administered road test Successfully complete pre-employment (post offer) background check Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally Previous LTL experience is preferred Forklift certification Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat and walk throughout an entire shift Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, generally an entire shift (8 hours per day) When driving, ability to sit in and drive commercial vehicle for prolonged periods Must be able to climb in and out of commercial vehicle and alternate sitting, standing and walking EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER WESCO International, Inc., including its subsidiaries and affiliates (\WESCO\), is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
