Regional Lead Engineer reporting to the regional manager for utility programs. Responsibilities include: Work across all proposals and active programs in the region. Technical approval authority for new proposals
Key participant in contract negotiations, ensuring technical changes are analyzed and appropriately reflected in contract documentation
Facilitate and manage the technical components with external vendors.
\u00a0Approval authority during implementation o Identify new product requirements.
Work closely with ISE teams to develop CDR. o Approval Authority on CDR.
Identify and manage technical risk \/ opportunity on programs in the region o Work directly with the Regional Manager to identify acceleration and upsell opportunities.
Coordinate efforts of system solutions engineers and sales engineering manager.
Voting member for Technical changes Integrated Change Management Board
Effectively communicate technical scope and approach to implementation system engineers
Provide technical support and guidance when critical issues are escalated by project team.
Improve the Engineering Design process by documenting FAQs, Lessons Learned, and Product Ideas, and work with supporting functions to explore \/ implement.
Act as the technical SME for programs in the region and be the \u201cgo to\u201d technical interface to utility customers.\u00a0 Qualifications: Bachelor\u2019s degree and 15 years of demonstrated technical experience in telecommunications or MSEE degree and 12 years of comparable experience or PhD degree and 9 years of comparable experience.
Strong communication skills in verbal and written (English) with strong presentation skills.
Should possess excellent interpersonal skills and have demonstrated the capacity to effectively foster team building within and beyond his\/her work group. Must be able to work within a cross-functional team environment
Must be self-directed and willing to take initiative.\u00a0
