GENERAL SUMMARY/BASIC PURPOSE OF JOB:Performs high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of Cisco VoIP/IP PBX telephone systems and associated products. Integration familiarity to include Unity Connection (Voice Mail), Presence (Jabber), UCCX (Contact Center), Expressway (Video), Informacast (Paging), and SIP Trunking. Responsible for all upgrades, within the Cisco VoIP product line, and its servers. Provide VoIP related engineering and operational support, both strategic and tactical. Maintain and consolidate circuit level voice IP drawings. Monitor and identify capacity, quality, and performance issues for VoIP traffic to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation of telephony systems. Will also provide expert technical assistance for VoIP growth networks, systems upgrades, and new equipment purchases. Performs analysis of maintenance failures, research trends, causes of failures, and recommend solutions to avert future failures. Gather, compile, and maintain enterprise level VoIP network diagrams. Perform, and troubleshoot, on all voice services for all LAN and WAN hardware modules, and configure appropriate media modules. Excellent task management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsMINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: At least 8 years of experience designing, supporting, and configuring VoIP phone systems, including all peripheral products, Experience with Cisco products, such as Unity, Jabber, UCCX, Expressway, and Informacast, a plusREQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: CCNA, OR CVOIP PREFERRED
