Northrop Grumman is seeking a Telecom Administrator with strong network knowledge to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in RALEIGH, NC. This is an on-site position with no telecommute possibilities. This position is part of the Northrop Grumman's ETS Contract with the United States Postal Service, bringing top of the line professional technologists to their teams. This position will perform administration functions to support the ordering and tracking of network services from multiple vendors according to national policies and guidelines. This individual shall independently perform enterprise-level network service ordering and tracking using an advanced Telecom Expense Management system and ServiceNow. They shall work independently or semi-independently with a minimum of guidance or direction. Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to: â€¢ Administer multiple WAN/LAN service requests to vendors providing network services using advanced Telecom Expense Management software. â€¢ Schedule and coordinate network service installations based on project specifications. â€¢ Represent customer to resolve issues with WAN/LAN orders and/or connectivity with providers. â€¢ Report and track daily tasks in Excel spreadsheets. â€¢ Follow ServiceNow tickets to closure. â€¢ Support the customerâ€™s Business Partner network connectivity and service installation. Qualifications:Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: â€¢ Associate's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of IT work experience; or additional 2 years of work experience can be substituted for the degree â€¢ Strong knowledge of networkingâ€¢ Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Excel. â€¢ Strong organizational skills â€¢ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. â€¢ Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance â€\ US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) â€¢ Must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years. â€¢ Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years â€¢ Position is based in Raleigh, and does not provide relocation assistance Preferred Qualifications: â€¢ Working Knowledge of network services (WAN & LAN). â€¢ Bachelor's degree Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
