Telecom Technician Jobs description
A telecom technician installs, maintains/repairs and tests residential/small business broadband products, high speed internet, networking, VDSL, IPTV, or high definition TV. Telecom technicians can be classified into a number of job titles such as field service technician, field service engineer, network technician, lead telecom technician, broadband technician, network maintenance technician, and network engineer. Job availability in these areas is abundant as most organizations want to stay connected with the latest technological advancements.Eligibility criteria for a telecom technician may vary. Though all positions require minimum of a high school diploma, engineer positions usually require a bachelor’s degree combined with a technical qualification or certification in the related field. Prior experience at a well-known MNC or a Fortune 500 company is all you might need to get to the top.
