Telecom jobs and telecommunication jobs require a skilled manger with knowledge of communication, networking, and engineering. A manager will oversee projects within a company. A telecom manger will need to have considerable knowledge about managing a team; Getting projects done on time without stress and working with other team members within a company such as techs, designers, other mangers and engineers to complete projects.

Telecom and telecommunication jobs normally require a bachelor’s degree in communication engineering, masters in business communication and a self-starting person. This person needs to be passionate to start each day with a clear mind and knowledge of the telecommunication world in order to be a good telecom project manager.

Jobs in this field not only require degrees for communication systems and networks. They also require management skills and good communication with a group of project workers to assure that projects are completed on time.



While obtaining a degree, a recommendation would be to find a manger’s position in order to gain experience and learn new skills on how to handle projects and manage people. Managing people is not an easy task; it takes a special person to be a good manager that can oversee people on projects.

A telecom project mangers’ job can be very stressful to some while others have a way of relieving the stress. A person will have stress from the time that a project begins from any problems that might come up during the project. Again, a person needs to find ways to relieve stress in order to become a good telecom project manager.

A good project manager will look for advice from a superior on how to improve their project management skills. They will need to be able to accept criticism and translate it into advice. Working and learning management and communication skills are the key factors in any job, no matter how small or large.

There is a small chance that a person can be hired for telecom jobs without the college degree if they have great management skills and project coordination skills in networks, communications and engineering. If a person skills and knowledge are remarkable, a company may hire them without the degree. Most companies will look at someone that has over 15 years of strong management skills for the position.

Find management and communication classes to help learn new skills and also to improve your abilities in telecommunication project management. Classes are posted just about everywhere check local college or technical school in your area to find classes to help with skills in management.

Within four to five years, telecommunication jobs and telecom jobs will explode. Employers will be looking for unique management people to oversee projects and networks. Pay could average from fifty to eighty thousand per year, depending on the area and location where a person lives.
