Telecom Assistant Manager Jobs
A telecom assistant manager under general direction administers the operational and administrative activities of the office of telecommunications. A telecom assistant manager under general direction formulates, recommends, interprets, and implements, systems, procedures, and policy as they relate to the day-to-day administrative operations of the telecommunications office. A telecom assistant manager provides data and oversight of the financial accounting system reporting schemes and input to the operational budgeting process. A telecom assistant manager extracts data from the stand-alone telecommunications management system as well as other organization systems and utilize extracted data for analytical purposes, which include supervising the preparation of administrative reports as requested reflecting the financial status of the telecommunication system. A telecom assistant manager works with appropriate personnel to resolve administrative telecommunications problems and for analysis of new or existing systems. A telecom assistant manager coordinates with vendor and organization staff, the billing and collections of moves, and changes of service. A telecom assistant manager aids in the development of telecommunications administrative systems and computerized telecommunications analysis and accounting systems. A telecom assistant manager exercises considerable initiative, planning, and judgment.
A telecom assistant manager requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field or business administration. A telecom assistant manager should have 3+ years of management responsibility, preferably in the same industry or have equivalent education and work experience. A telecom assistant manager should have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and ability to interface well with users and staff.
