Telecom Billing Jobs

A telecom billing analyst is responsible for working on the billing, accounting and verification of services provided to the telecommunications end user. A telecom billing analyst handles management of the company’s telecommunications expenditure and assisting finance in the orderly disbursements of telecommunications accounts. A telecom billing analyst carries out research and resolve billing inquiries, calling card, and other miscellaneous toll charges and, monthly recurring and non-recurring charges. A telecom billing analyst prepares accounting department credit or debit adjustments to accounts as a result of billing inquiries. A telecom billing analyst maintains history files of billing inquiries and actions taken. A telecom billing analyst maintains file of active and inactive customers who are billed through miscellaneous accounts receivable. A telecom billing analyst processes monthly miscellaneous toll charges and reconcile the miscellaneous toll invoice to confirm that all charges have been accounted for as well as work with accountant to contest charges. A telecom billing analyst updates financial schedules and submit for inclusion in the financial and statistical report.

A telecom billing analyst requires a BS/BA degree with minimum six months billing experience preferably in the telecommunications sector. A telecom billing analyst must be proficient in basic math. A telecom billing analyst should have some knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, and accounts receivable. Good communica¬tions skill, oral and written and organizational skills required. Experience using a PC is required.
