Description:
Perform systems analysis, modeling, simulation, implementation of advanced wireless / distributed networking protocols, with an understanding of ALL layers of the protocol stack.
Requirements include:
1. Wireless Protocols, Optimizations and Implementations for 3G, MANETs, 4G Access Technologies and Protocol Implementations.
2. Creativity & Analysis: This position requires creative individuals who excel both at synthesis of advanced protocols and analysis of protocol vulnerabilities. In addition, a systems engineering perspective, allowing the estimation of protocol performance / trends / trades via calculation, simulation models, and analytical models is needed.
3. Rapid Prototyping: The ability to rapidly prototype protocols and systems of systems is desired.
4: Object Oriented Methods: Object oriented architecture, programming and programming methods required.
5. Knowledge of HOL: such as C, C and associated development frameworks
6. Estimation & efficient implementations: Understanding and experience with software models for software complexity and development effort, and efficient implementation methods.
7. Application of configuration management systems, and semi-automated documentation methods.
8. Understanding of performance considerations during design, throughput and latency optimization techniques, O/S internals and real time implications.
Special Knowledge and Certifications:
Understanding of Communications Systems & Signal Processing desired
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
