EMS FCAPS QA Engineer

Profile

Position 1 ) Test Lead
More 10 years of experience in testing Telecom grade software systems
Should have experience in leading a test team of size 8-10 testers.
Support the team in building lab systems
Guide the testers to perform soak, performance testing
experience in testing EMS (FCAPS) system in Telecom Domain
Should have knowledge of GPON network systems
Ability to interact with developers and product analysts regarding test status and defect tracking.
Good communication skills, both oral and written
Experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Proficiency in Manual Testing and Automated Testing on client/server applications and different phases of testing (Black Box testing QA Methodologies, Integration Testing, and System Testing).
Ability to design and implement a test setup, i.e. set up a lab.
Position 2 ) Test Engineer
More than 8 years experience.
Experience in Telecom Domain
Experience in testing EMS
Good understanding of OSS (FCAPS).
Should have good knowledge of strategies to perform soak, performance testing of Telecom software systems
Understanding of GPON network is plus
Able to work in Unix environment
Job includes understanding requirements, developing test cases, review with Leads
Good communication skills, both oral and written
Experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Proficiency in Manual Testing and Automated Testing on client/server applications and different phases of testing (Black Box testing QA Methodologies, Integration Testing, and System Testing).
