Telecom Project Manager Jobs description
A telecommunications project manager is usually responsible for handling the administration of corporate telecommunications services. This includes voice and data services utilizing terrestrial and wireless mediums, in addition to CPE equipment using TDM and VOIP technologies. A telecommunications project manager also handles the daily maintenance of telecommunications networks and manages corporate telecommunications projects. Providing expertise regarding current telecommunications technologies, evolutionary cycles, and industry strategies is also one of the important duties of the telecommunications project manager.A BS or BA degree in computer science is typically required for the position of telecommunications project manager. Ideally a telecommunications project manager needs to have five to 10 years of experience in the telecommunications field. Experience using both VOIP and TDM technologies will also be a big plus for a telecommunications project manager position.
